Paris's heaviest techno club since 1988 — Lorenzo Senni's residency, regular sets from Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier. Funktion-One sound system, an intimate 300-capacity room, properly underground.

A classic jazz club going since 1946 in a medieval cellar in the Latin Quarter — a live jazz/swing band every night, a packed dance floor, the kind of Paris atmosphere you came for. Filmed in La La Land (2016).

The pioneer of Paris's speakeasy movement (opened 2007) — an unmarked door down a passage near Étienne Marcel, a small room, and seriously good classic and signature cocktails. Sister bars in London, NYC, and Ibiza.

A boat club moored on the Seine across from Gare de Lyon — techno, house, all-night weekend marathons. The most flexible schedule in Paris, with after-hours sessions even on Sunday afternoons.
