A classic socialist-era 'milk bar' — a subsidised old canteen that has soldiered on since the 1950s. Żurek, pierogi, *kotlet schabowy* for 15–25 PLN. Local students and the neighbourhood's grandparents.

Perfect for breakfast or an afternoon coffee on a hidden Old Town lane — house cakes (*sernik*, *makowiec*), Polish coffee, a shaded terrace. A classic without the tourist mark-up.

A former 1989 hotel on the Vistula turned into a craft-food and creative space — burger street food, ramen, vegan stalls, craft beer. Concerts at weekends, a riverside deck in summer.
