A cult terrace high up in the north of the Old Town — meat and fish off the open grill, panoramic view across the terracotta rooftops. No reservations, 30-60 min wait in summer — but it's worth it.

Dubrovnik's most famous bar — you walk through a hole in the walls (*buža*) onto the rocks above the sea, cocktail in hand, sunset view across to Lokrum. Jump straight off the cliffs into the sea. Cash only, basic menu, but the location is unmatched.

A stone konoba in the hills above Dubrovnik (10 min by taxi) — *peka*, lamb, game, authentic Dalmatian classics. Prices 40% lower than in the Old Town, run by a local family.

Mediterranean-Asian fusion in a quiet Old Town lane — pad thai with prawns, tuna tartare, Korean short ribs. A creative break from classic Dalmatian cooking, with a solid wine list.
