A Guinness World Record — 2,004 different beers on the menu (the world's longest beer list). Spread across four floors down an alley behind the Galeries Royales, the vibe is rugby pub but the line-up runs to Belgian Trappist exclusives.

A serious beer bar — 46 taps with the focus on Belgian *lambics*, *gueuze*, and craft breweries off the mainstream. If Delirium is for tourists, Moeder Lambic is for the beer geeks.

Mon–Thu 11:00–01:00; Fri–Sat until 03:00; Sun until midnight.

A jazz club in the cellar of a 17th-century building, two metres from the Grand-Place — live music six nights a week in an intimate room for 100. Belgian and European jazz, with the occasional American tour stopping by.

Wed–Sat from 19:30 (sets at 20:30 and 22:00).

Belgium's most famous techno club since 1994 — Saturday nights are legendary, with guest DJs flying in from Berlin and Detroit. Don't expect easy hits — Fuse is underground.

Sat 23:00–07:00 (occasional Fridays); weekends only.

A funeral-themed bar — coffins for tables, skulls on the walls, dim red light. Absurd and charming, a Brussels tradition since 1971: you sit inside a coffin and drink your beer out of a 'dead man's head' mug.

A part-bar, part-museum of fruit liqueurs in a 17th-century house 50 m from the Grand-Place — three floors crammed with old posters, gramophones, cameras, and dolls. Every corner has its own mood. Eccentric — you don't come for the cocktail, you come for the story.
