Berghain
€€€The world's most famous techno club and the institution of the Berlin scene. A former power station with a sound system that exists nowhere else, open from Saturday 23:30 to Monday afternoon (40+ hours non-stop). The door policy is legendarily strict (Sven Marquardt) — whether a tourist gets in is unpredictable. Dress code: black, not in a big group, not smiling ('it's obvious you're here for the first time'). No photos inside (stickers go over your phone camera at the entrance). Entry €18-25, the lineup is never published in advance.
Sat 23:30 → Mon 12:00–18:00 (non-stop through the weekend).
