A speakeasy hidden behind a pastrami sandwich shop in El Born — you walk in, open the 'fridge', and step into a futuristic wooden vault. Repeatedly on the World's 50 Best Bars list (#1 in 2022). Creative cocktails with a story behind each drink — reservations essential.

An apothecary-themed cocktail bar in El Born — bartenders in lab coats, ingredients 'dosed' from pharmacy bottles, house-made signature liqueurs. Small, lab-like atmosphere, a regular fixture on the World's 50 Best Bars list.

A small club in the Gothic Quarter built around funk, soul, and acid jazz — DJs and live acts trade off, with a dance crowd until 5am. The best alternative to the techno scene if you'd rather have groove and live-band energy.

Thu–Sun 23:30–05:30.

A cocktail bar and restaurant on Plaça Reial, under Gaudí's lamps — baroque interior, palm-shaded terrace on the square, and a late-night basement club ('La Apothecary'). The ideal starting point for an evening.
